I did nails inspired by The Hobbit.  Apart from some of the actors who are on some of my favourite television programs the only other thing I know about the Hobbit is there is a character named Nori.  So I put seaweed on my nails. 

Used OPI’s My Boyfriend Scales Walls…and seaweed. And lot’s 3 coats of topcoat.  I didn’t want to smell like the ocean.

Also before you complain about glitter removal try seaweed removal.  10x harder.

I really wish I had better control with my left hand when it comes to nail art. My poor Darth nails didn’t come out as well as my Pardee nails. I was hoping to paint his full face on my middle nail, but that just wasn’t happening….. at all. I didn’t hate them as much now then before I added in the highlighting and top coat. Still, they could have been better.

More Pony nails :) However, this time I have tried something different and made aspects of this set 3D!

There’s Fluttershy on my thumb with her cutie mark on my ring finger, and a gradient and abstract nail art on the other nails. I was going for an overall, classic Japanese tone with this set, so perhaps it would be more appropriate to call these ‘Fluttershy-inspired’?

I am really pleased with how they have turned out! And they were so fun to make, I can’t wait to wear them :)
