Turn that damaged mani into a half-moon, gradient, or frenchie!

Nail Tip of the Day! 

You can get a perfect half moon mani with those little stabilizing stickers for notebook paper!

Just do you normal nail routine and after your under color dries completely, stick the stabilizing sticker (with a little wedge cut out of the bottom so it’ll lie flat) on your nail and paint your over-color on. Wait ten seconds and peel the sticker off from one side to the other.

Top coat as normal and you’re ready to go!

Now, I just have to wait on that gorgeous green-black shatter.

Just looking at the collection, I’m disappointed that there isn’t a delicious, bright red creme. This is a Spiderman inspired collection, it needs a red. 

All the other colors, I just love. Especially the duo-chrome “Just Spotted the Lizard,” in the bottle it looks like scarabs wings, but I doubt that the effect will transfer from the bottle to the nail.

The other day, when I was on Tumblr, I came across alicexz’s portrait of young!Amelia Pond… which led me to explore her blog and find the portrait of Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) to the left.  I was actually familiar with her previous graphics work as silverqe on Livejournal, and I was always a big fan of her design sense and her use of color.

As you could probably tell from my previous posts, my inventory of nail colors was mostly blues, blacks, and glitters, so I decided to buy a few more colors and try to mimic the vibrancy of this portrait in a nail design.  It’s not quite as glorious as the portrait and it’s not a super intricate design like my others, but I tried. :P (Look, I can do nail designs that don’t have glitter!)

I think the pinkie turned out the best. :)
